This is the part where I use cool, proper grammar because I don't know how long this news post will be but I don't want it to be hard to read.
'Suppp. Hope you're all having a good day and if you aren't, I hope the day passes quickly or something.
First of all, fully finished artworks are probably on hold for a bit. Not only do I have school but the thing I use to charge the battery in my graphics tablet shat itself a while ago. I use my phone to draw everything now and it's pretty exhausting (not that I'm not used to it but every now and again, burnout hits HARD and a lot of it does have to do with the fact that I draw with my phone)
Second thing, I've been focusing on a small project that'll never really come to fruition but it's just really fun to think about and conceptualise. Basically, just me and my friends have been talking about what we'd be like in a fighting game like Street Fighter or Smash Bros and I've been drawing my friends as if we had our own cool little fighting game. (You can look at doodles I did for this if you scroll down to the end.)
Who would've thunk listening to Guile's Theme would send me down a rabbit hole of fighting game video essays on YouTube. I really wanna try playing Street Fighter now.
I'll probably slow down on the fanart a bit because of this. While we're here, I've been thinking about pausing Nightmare Cops art in particular because I feel bad for hyping the game (?) even though it's still in development and probably will continue to be in development for a while. I wanna save as much hype for when the game actually comes out and I can work with a lot more :o] I think I'll still doodle the Nightmare Cops though.
Ok, last thing is an update on the Jeff's Twitter Space animation which I uploaded a while back. If you've seen my Twitter, you would know that I actually worked on finishing that but as I said before the thing I use to charge the battery in my graphics tablet shat itself, not only that but motivation dropped as soon as the holidays ended. It makes me sad actually :o[ There were only two people left to animate but I can't get myself to do it.
That being said, I might upload the unfinished remaster of Jeff's Twitter Space anyway. Still proud of some stuff and I would really fucking hate if I never got to share it here. Plus, I've completed TWO animated things I can't upload here because of copyright and shame. It's made me real glum, finishing things and not being able to upload it here, agh! I love Newgrounds and I wanna be more active here. I'm trying my best!!!!
Anyway, with those outta the way, here's the doodles I was talking about!
@redtailfins sona, Red. This was the first design I got down!! To be honest, I think I made Red less combat friendly (what with the bowl and wires and addition of pants) but it was something I was playing around with. Plus I liked the idea that if you K.O.ed Red, his bowl would crack open and he would flop around on the floor like a fish out of water idfk.
Another one of my friends! I'm not very good at drawing furries honestly but she's just a fox with an occasional fire theme so I took inspiration from Ryu from Street Fighter and Kazuya from Tekken (mainly the fire thing on his pants which look really funny to me, I like it.)
TWO of my friends! A duo! And more furries I found INCREDIBLY difficult to draw. I feel like the context that a lot of these designs are inspired by my friend's Minecraft skins might be needed lol.
OH! By the way, thanks for 300+ fans!!! :o] I appreciate the support on my art! Your comments make me very happy!! I'm sorry I don't respond a lot, I'm so nervous talking to others but I know I gotta get better at it. I've started trying to react to comments I get at least, I like the meow emoticon.
Okay, It's 1am and I have school tomorrow so I gotta sleep. I'll try updating on Newgrounds regularly, maybe not daily or weekly. Maybe like once every month or every 2 months. Fuck, I need to sleep. See ya :o]
